- Velcro backed and attach to a weighted drive plate, rubber riser or rigid drive plate. Use 3-4 pucks with a 17″ rotary machine or 4 to 6 pucks with a 20″ machine.
Breakdown of EACH STEP:
- STEP 1 PAD – Replaces traditional diamonds in 50, 100, 200 and 400 grit (i.e. the step one pad removes damage like a 50 grit traditional diamond but leaves the scratch pattern of a 400 grit pad).
- STEP 2 PAD – Replaces traditional diamonds in 200, 400, and 800 grit.
- STEP 3 PAD – Replaces traditional diamonds in 800, 1500, and 3,000 grit.
- STEP 4 PAD – Replaces traditional diamonds in 3,000 and 8,000 grit and beyond.
For the final polishing step we recommend using 11,000 grit Monkey Pad for the highest color, clarity and gloss.
